Making Potato Paper Glue

Here is a recipe for making a strong paper glue suitable. The glue contains no harmful substances.

• Grate 2 large potatoes in a kitchen shredder using a fine grating blade.
  
• Add a cup of water to the resulting potato paste
  
• Filter this mixture through a fine cloth
  
• Fill the liquid into a pot or glass and let it settle for about an hour.

• The white potato starch will concentrate at the bottom of the glass.
  
• Discard most of the liquid and keep the starch
  
• Add 1/2 cup of water and boil the starch water mixture until it becomes jelly.
  
• This jelly is a very strong paper glue
